Bad Breath, Gingivitis And Periodontitis

Plaque is a thick sticky film of bacteria that builds up on the teeth. If plaque is not removed daily, it hardens to form calculus or tartar. This causes bad breath, bleeding gums and the first signs of gingivitis.

Gingivitis is the inflammation of the gums, causing pockets to form in-between gums and teeth. This can be reversed by regular brushing, flossing and cleaning by your dentist. If left untreated, this pocket enlarges causing food too trap, calculus being formed and eventually loosening of teeth.
